PV solar home system

A:Main parts:
Solar photovoltaic system is composed mainly of solar modules, solar charge controllers, batteries,
inverters (for AC loads).
B:Principle of photovoltaic systems:
Solar cell converts sunshine into DC electricity. Solar Charge Controller are the central device of the
whole system, which regulates the process of charging, discharging with a series of protection and
management functions. Battery is the device to store power for the loads in off-grid
circumstances .Inverters will be needed in solar systems if the power output is supposed to be AC
current(normally220 V or 110 V)

Where a building is at a considerable distance from the public electricity supply-in remote or mountainous areas, PV may be the preferred choice for generating electricity, or PV may be used together with wind, diesel generators and/or hydroelectric power.Off-grid (Independent) solar photovoltaic power generation
systems are designed to supply power for households, schools, clinics, hospitals, farms, breeding farms in remote areas such as little villages in the mountain or small islands where people do not have the access to the grid.
